Momma's Helpers

We're bored. There's just not much to do. The snow is melting and the yard is icky (says Momma) so we can't go out cuz we will just make tracks in the house. Hmmmph.


So, me and Bella decided to help Momma do the dishes. Mmmm. Its a fun thing. There was some really good stuff on the cutting board. Here I am 'prewashing' it for Momma. Hee Hee!

All Dressed Up

The snow started melting off today. Our yard has turned to mush. Momma and Poppa took down the outdoor Christmas decorations finally. They couldn't do it before because the decorations were stuck in a foot of snow and ice. While they did that, we got to play outside. It was way fun. We ran and ran and chased squirrels and barked at the neighbor doggies. Look how dirty Eddie is! Wow. What fun!

Then, Momma called us in one by one and stuck us in the bath. After that we were all shivery so Momma got us all warmed up in our doggie warm-up outfits. Don't we all look spiffy.I think she washed Eddie's eyes out. Where are they?????

And my sissie Bella is so spiffy in her sweats. I think she's an autumn, though. She might look good in a nice rich burgundy. Lady wouldn't have anything to do with getting dressed up. Bah Humbug!

Here's me in my Baby Blue sweats getting warmed up. I don't like the flash on the camera so I shut my eyes. But I am cute, aren't I?

Vacationers

Mom and Dad are back from Florida. We couldn't go. I, Eddie, and Lady stayed at Gramma's. Peaches and Bella stayed at doggie camp where they made new friends. Apparently, Bella has a boyfren named Mike! Hah!Bella has a boyfren. Bella has a boyfren. Tee Hee!

Anyway, here are some pictures Momma and Poppa took. They said we couldn't go, but, huh, there are pictures of DAWGS on the BEACH! Uh. Momma's got some splainin' to do!

We can't complain too bad cuz they did bring us back yummy cookies. They found this neat shop called Island Paws and went in there and bought new clothes and yummies and lots of fun stuff. The cookies they got are reeeeeeally goooood! Mmmm. Okay, we'll forgive them for leaving us back in Missouri with the ice and snow! This is Liza, from the shop and the resident k-9 in charge and chief greeter, Nutmeg. Speaking of ice and snow, here are some of our icey pictures from before vacation time...
Bella loooooves the snow. Look at her go. The rest of us couldn't keep up with her!Now Peaches, it took her a long time to decide to go out into the snow.
This branch fell into the roadway in front of our yard. Nobody could drive by because it blocked the whole road.
Later a bulldozer came and pushed it off the road and then these people came with a loud saw that went "Bzzzzz, Rrrrrrrr, Bzrrrrrrzzzzrrrrr" and cut it all up and took the parts away in their truck.

Diggers

Oh my. There are diggers outside in our yard. Men are driving them around, digging up our outside-the-fence yard. They have dug up a big pipe. Hmmm.This has been a big concern today.
We have monitored them quite closely. You never do know what they might do. We must keep them out of our inside-the-fence yard and out of our DOG HOUSE! We have barked at them from inside the house and sometimes we go outside when they get too close to our fence and we bark right at them. Obviously we are effective since they have not breached the border yet.

Eddie, come help us. EDDIE!!!!!!!!


Bella is still on duty while I take a break to blog about this. We cannot rest you know!

We think Momma should give us extra yummies tonight since we've worked extra hard. Don't you? Hee Hee Hee. :->
