It's a Beagle-rific Life

Wednesday, March 26, 2008

Gotta do whatcha gotta do.

Me and Bella were thinkin that we need a new toy. We listened to the Squeeky Deeky song that we put on the blog and we think we need a squeeky deeky. So, we're thinkin on how we can get Momma to get us one...

Two beagle heads are better than one.
So, if we act like we're really, really sad, or even sick, maybe Momma will feel so sorry for us...
Does this look pitiful enough?
Eddie, that's not a pitiful look! Is that the best you can do?

Like this, Eddie...
See, it worked!!!!! Hah! Happy now. ZZZzzzzzzzzzzz.

Ahahaha! Glad you get your squeeky deeky! Beagles surely know how to make that pitiful look! ;)
And because you don't know what I was saying in my blog, here's a translation:
"Yesterday I had dinner at Gaspar's. At first I was affraid, but then he licked me and we get along very well. We searched for bones under the sofa, he licked me and I licked him, we played "ctach me if you can", we played with the ball, we went outside, we even found a dog without it's owner (with no phone number or ID) that played with us, he even wanted to come home with us but N. (Gaspar's owner) didn't like the idea... Then I went home and slept close to Gaspar's belly =)"

Nice work guys!! We beagles have an advantage in winning people over. Yay you got a Loofah Puppy! That is one of our favourite toys - our giant one squeaks and honks kinda like a goose?
We love the two beagle heads photo. It seems that Bella and Peaches really get along.

I'm not sure it's a pitiful look, just an adorable one.

You don't even have to try to look cute. You just are.

Dear fellow blogger,

My name is Bryony and I am an artist, based in Manchster, England. I graduated from a BA in Fine Art almost a year ago now, and am currently making a go of things as a (part-time!) artist, having just rented a studio here in Manchester.

My work is heavily influenced by man’s relationship with animals.
Recently I have become fascinated by the number of blogs online dedicated to pet dogs.

I have an idea in mind for a show, which would happen in early May this year, and I would like you to be a part of it!

I would like to use a bit of text from your blog (with your permission of course) and edit it slightly, just so that it isn’t immediately apparent that the subject of the blog is a dog, not a human.
I would then like to publish the texts (hopefully many different ones from dog bloggers all over the world) on my own blog.
For the exhibition in Manchester, I would print out these texts and put them up on the gallery walls

What I plan to do with this art work, is to demonstrate the depth and rich complexity of our love of animals, man’s best friend in particular.

I am unable to offer any financial reward for your participation in this project, but I would gladly publicise your blog on my own, and through the exhibition in Manchester.

I think this will be a lovely project – it will be fun, and will unite dog-lovers around the globe!

If you would be willing to take part, or for more information, please contact me through the email address above. Feel free to have a look at my previous art work on my blog.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, it is much appreciated and I hope to hear from you soon.

Best Wishes,

Bryony
